Tiny by big block standards, but a big block nonetheless. Just got a fresh gasket set, upgrade to a 4BBL, and a couple coats of paint. Not to shabby for 50 years old :)

Needs a little muffling for sure. Not *too* too much, but it should not roar that much until you open it up. Probably Flowmasters are needed rather than glasspacks.

Right after I did the exhaust, intake and carb upgrade I gunned it hard from a stop sign, which elicited the usual tire squeal and surprised the hell out of myself when it chirped the tries again going into second.

Once I get the coolant problem solved (I believe it needs freeze plugs) I’ll get to work on that.
